Salmon Poetry

Song

Judith Mok

I want to read you true poems at night
I want to make love to you
I want to wander through those years
That separate us
I want to make love to you
I want to listen to our music
I want to suffer it and
Laugh high notes with you
I want to feed you hope
When I tell you fairytales
Cruel and sunny
Dark and deep
I want to make love to you
I don't want to leave your nest
I don't want to go home
I want to make love to you
I want to brush your hair
And talk about some global affair
I want to take life to you
And season your time with white pepper
Lengthen your ears
Sweeten your juices
Ride the palest of your dreams
Listen to your pleasure- infested screams
I want to make love to you
I want to be the fruit in your mouth
And live of the salt off your earth
I want to be the sting in your existence
I want to bring you four seasons
I want to reduce my voice to your whisper
I want to be the song line
You hang on to for sheer survival
I want to make love to you
