Primrose Dzenga

Born in Wedza, Zimbabwe on 20 February 1982, Primrose Dzenga is a creative non-fiction author and poet. Her first book The Unsung Heroine – Auxillia Chimusoro, was published in Zimbabwe by Zimbabwe Women Wr iters (June 2009). She has been published in poetry magazines, and online with the US Embassy in Harare. Primrose has performed and read her poetry at several international festivals. Her essay on publishing in Zimbabwe was included in Poetry: Reading it, Writing it, Publishing it, edited by Jessie Lendennie (Salmon Poetry, 2009). Her greatest passion is to work with and write about issues that advance, empower and inspire women all over the world. She lives and works in Harare, Zimbabwe.
